چکیده

The iSAT algorithm aims at solving boolean combinations of linear and non-linear arithmetic constraint formulas (including transcendental functions), and thus is suitable to verify safety properties of systems consisting of both, linear and non-linear behaviour. The iSAT algorithm tightly integrates interval constraint propagation into the conflict-driven clauselearning framework. During the solving process, this may result in a huge implication graph. This paper presents a method to compress the implication graph on-the-fly. Experiments demonstrate that this method is able to reduce the overall memory footprint up to an order

Towards Verification of Artificial Neural Networks

We consider the safety verification of controllers obtained via machine learning. This is an important problem as the employed machine learning techniques work well in practice, but cannot guarantee safety of the produced controller, which is typically represented as an artificial neural network. Nevertheless, such methods are used in safety-critical environments. In this paper we take a typica...

Modular SMT Proofs for Fast Reflexive Checking Inside Coq

We present a new methodology for exchanging unsatisfiability proofs between an untrusted SMT solver and a sceptical proof assistant with computation capabilities like Coq. We advocate modular SMT proofs that separate boolean reasoning and theory reasoning; and structure the communication between theories using Nelson-Oppen combination scheme. We present the design and implementation of a Coq re...

A Progressive Simplifier for Satisfiability Modulo Theories

In this paper we present a new progressive cooperating simplifier for deciding the satisfiability of a quantifier-free formula in the first-order theory of integers involving combinations of sublogics, referred to as Satisfiability Modulo Theories (SMT). Our approach, given an SMT problem, replaces each non-propositional theory atom with a Boolean indicator variable yielding a purely propositio...

Stochastic Local Search for SMT: Combining Theory Solvers with WalkSAT

A dominant approach to Satisfiability Modulo Theories (SMT) relies on the integration of a Conflict-Driven-Clause-Learning (CDCL) SAT solver and of a decision procedure able to handle sets of atomic constraints in the underlying theory T (T -solver). In pure SAT, however, Stochastic Local-Search (SLS) procedures sometimes are competitive with CDCL SAT solvers on satisfiable instances. Thus, it ...

Experiments on the feasibility of using a floating-point simplex in an SMT solver

SMT solvers use simplex-based decision procedures to solve decision problems whose formulas are quantifier-free and atoms are linear constraints over the rationals. Stateof-art SMT solvers use rational (exact) simplex implementations, which have shown good performance for typical software, hardware or protocol verification problems over the years. Yet, most other scientific and technical fields...
